Reservations are essential for dinner at Alex. Restaurant reservations are accepted 90 days in advance for guests of the resort and 60 days in advance for those not enjoying the amenities of Wynn Las Vegas. You can reserve by calling the restaurant directly at (702)770-3300 or by contacting Wynn Las Vegas Restaurant Reservations at (888) 352-dine or (702)248-DINE from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

Seating at Alex is completely comfortable and includes both upholstered chairs and banquettes. The tables with banquettes are situated a little closer to one another than the tables with freestanding chairs, although there's plenty of room and privacy at both because tables throughout the room are strategically placed in order to ensure maximum comfort for every guest.

Alex's atmosphere is extremely elegant. From the moment you enter the lounge area upon entering until the moment you leave it upon exiting, you will be awe-struck. As you're taken to your table you'll notice the rich sunset colored hues, inviting dark wood and beautiful windows that populate the dining room. The atmosphere is serene and tranquil—the perfect place for a romantic meal. When you eat here, you feel as if you've gone to the most exclusive restaurant in the French Riviera. One thing to note, though: Turn your cell phones and PDAs off, as it is requested that you refrain from using handheld devices while you're dining at Alex so as not to disturb other guests. Finally, service is impeccable; your every need is catered to in a completely seamless fashion.

Restrooms are easily accessible, within the restaurant, on its lower level, off of the main dining room; there is an elevator for those who are unable to use the stairs.

The dress code is casual elegant. While jackets and ties are not required, the hotel suggests casual evening attire. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts and athletic shoes are not appropriate.

Complimentary valet parking is available at the hotel, as are multiple cabs. However, if you're ending your meal at the same time as one of the shows that's playing at the Wynn, such as Le Reve or Spamalot, you might want to allow extra time for getting your car or a taxi.
