Bistro Le Steak provides a Parisian bistro experience for those who want to be whisked away for an afternoon in the city or dream of an evening in the city of lights without the expense or pretense. Created by Herb and Greg Wetanson, the father and son owners of Dallas BBQ and Tony's Di Napoli, this is nothing like their previous ventures. Instead, it's a slice of Paris that's as authentic as you can get outside of France. Today, Nicki Jakupi owns Bistro Le Steak. He has a magic touch when it comes to French bistros, as he's also started Bistro Desaret in Midtown Manhattan. Whereas Bistro Le Steak only serves lunch on the weekends, Bistro Desaret serves lunch and dinner all week long. Here, at Bistro Le Steak, gracious servers make you feel at home from the moment you enter through the wrought iron and glass door. They even speak English, for those who want the French bistro experience without the fuss of learning a new language. The menu options at Bistro Le Steak range from the traditional French onion soup, complete with fried onion rings, and the more elaborate escargot to its namesake steaks and a variety of options in between. As if that weren't enough, there are also nightly specials. Don't have the time to stop by? No problem. Simply call the restaurant for delivery. You'll miss the Parisian decor and the generous wine pour, but you'll still get the fabulous French cuisine. Reservations aren't typically necessary for brunch, although they are suggested for dinner. Dress code is casual. Following is the dinner menu and the weekend brunch menu.
